Author Bio

Born May 24th in Bronx , NY ; HaaJar Johnson grew up near the intersection of 213th street and White Plains road with her six sisters, two brothers, mom, dad and countless cousins. She was top of her class through grade school, middle school and high school. She won awards for her poetry and essays from such organizations as the Peace Corps and New York Times and entitled and wrote a major portion of an “Off-Broadway” play entitled “Don’t see my bones and think I’m dead.”

HaaJar went on to attend Queens College to complete her Bachelors in Political Science: International Affairs with a minor in Business Administration. She then traveled to Indiana to obtain her Masters in Purdue University’s MBA program and upon graduating, took jobs with two well-known companies. HaaJar hopes to continue writing poetry, essays, novels and children books for the entire world to enjoy.
